This website is operated by Ethiopian Skylight Hospitality Group ("ETSHG", "we", "us"), a member of the Ethiopian Airlines Group, on behalf of its hotels, resorts and lodges: Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, Skylight In-Terminal Hotel, Arba Minch Conference Resort, Chebera Elephant Paw Lodge, Halala Kella Eco Lodge, Wanchi Ija Eco Lodge, Wanchi Ija Eco Glamping and Haroo Dandi Lodge (the "Properties").

By browsing this website or making a booking through it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with its date, applies from the moment it is posted. Bookings already confirmed remain subject to the terms that applied when you made them.

2. Use of the website

You may view, download and print content from this website for personal, non-commercial use only, keeping all copyright and ownership notices.

Any other use - including copying, changing, distributing, publishing or broadcasting the content, in whole or in part - needs our prior written consent.

You must not misuse the website: no attempts to break its security, introduce viruses, collect other users' data, place false or speculative bookings, or use automated tools to copy prices or availability.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, and you confirm that the details you give are true and complete.

3. Copyright and trademarks

All texts, logos, names, photographs, videos, layouts and designs on this website belong to ETSHG, the Ethiopian Airlines Group or their licensors, and are protected by Ethiopian and international intellectual-property law.

Nothing on this website gives you a licence to use any of our trademarks, logos or content, except as set out in section 2.

4. Room reservations

A reservation is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation with a booking reference. Bookings paid by bank transfer are confirmed once the hotel has checked the payment.

Prices are shown in the currency stated, per room per night unless shown otherwise, and include the taxes and service charges stated on the booking page. Promotional codes and package prices apply only on the conditions shown with the offer and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancellation, change and no-show conditions depend on the rate you booked and are shown before you pay and on your confirmation. Where no condition is shown, please contact the hotel before your arrival date to cancel or change your booking.

Standard check-in and check-out times are set by each Property and shown on your confirmation. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged.

A valid photo ID or passport is required at check-in for every adult guest, in line with Ethiopian law. The hotel may ask for a payment card or deposit for incidental charges.

Transfers to our remote lodges are available on request and are charged separately unless included in your package.

5. Restaurant, spa, meeting and event bookings

Table, spa and activity bookings are held for the time shown on your confirmation. Please arrive on time; late arrivals may have shortened treatments or lose the booking.

Meeting, wedding and event bookings are confirmed by a separate written agreement or quotation from the Property, which sets out the deposit, final numbers and cancellation conditions.

Menus, opening hours, treatments and venues shown on the website may change. The Property will tell you of any change that affects your booking.

6. Payments

Website bookings are paid by bank transfer using the hotel's published instructions. Submit your bank slip for the hotel's verification; we do not collect full card details.

Refunds, where due, are made to the original method of payment. Bank charges and exchange-rate differences are not refundable.

7. Your stay

Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, wildlife and the natural environment, and to follow the house rules of each Property, including no-smoking areas and park or reserve regulations at our lodges.

The Property may refuse service or end a stay, without refund, where a guest's behaviour puts people, property or wildlife at risk, or breaks the law.

Guests are responsible for any damage they or their visitors cause to the Property.

Please use the in-room safe or the front-desk safe for valuables. Our liability for guests' belongings is limited to what Ethiopian law requires.

8. Information you send us

Personal information you give us through this website is used to handle your booking or enquiry and is protected as described in our privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information.

Other material you send us, such as ideas, comments or reviews, is treated as non-confidential. By sending it, you confirm that you own it, that it is not unlawful or defamatory, and that we may use it without payment.

9. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the website accurate, but descriptions, photos, prices and availability may contain errors or change without notice. Photos are for illustration.

If a clear pricing error appears in a booking, we will contact you and you may either accept the correct price or cancel at no charge.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETSHG and anyone involved in producing this website are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ethiopian law.

We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural events, travel disruption, power or network failure, or government action.

11. Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites, such as maps, payment pages or partners. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in Addis Ababa, unless the law requires otherwise.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
